What to Expect FROM A PROTEST

Never been to a protest before? We are happy to have you! Here are a few things you can expect from one of our rallies:

Best suited for adults or children with a guardian present. These events are filled with kind, welcoming, like-minded individuals. For their safety and comfort, we recommend leaving pets at home.

At peaceful protests you can expect varying levels of crowd engagement. You can sit back and watch or you can stand near the road and make sure everyone knows what’s up!

You can bring your own sign, or make one when you come, or just sit and watch. If you make a sign at home, it can say whatever you’d like - we support the First Amendment!

Check the weather and dress accordingly. Closed toed shoes are recommended but you can wear whatever you want!

Most of our protests are held at 4601 Capital Blvd but ALWAYS check the event announcement prior to leaving your home. If you signed up on Mobilize, check your email to ensure there has been no change to date or time.

**Bathrooms and water are available.**
